The Children's Aid Society of Hamilton will be hosting its 8th Annual Grape Expectations Gala in support of the Children's Fund on Monday, November 1st, 2010 at Carmen's. Be sure to visit the site frequently for updates of this year's event!
The 7th Annual Grape Expectations Gala held on Monday, October 26, 2009 was the most successful event to date raising net proceeds of just over $104,000! This success can not be attributed to any one individual or action. Instead, it is a result of a caring community’s collective efforts that The Children’s Aid Society of Hamilton is able to host this wonderful event and raise funds for our Children’s Fund.

The Children’s Fund provides children and youth in the care of The Children’s Aid Society of Hamilton the chance to participate in recreational, educational and therapeutic opportunities that can enrich and improve their young lives. These vulnerable youngsters are provided the opportunity to attend summer camp, take music lessons, participate on sports teams, go on school trips, receive support for post-secondary education etc. In essence, the Children's Fund gives hope and opportunitites to those youngsters who need it most.

Grape Expectations is about a caring community coming together for Hamilton’s kids. When the CAS of Hamilton launched its inaugural Gala in support of the Society’s Children’s Fund, there was a desire to host an event that members of the community would look forward to, would enjoy attending and would be proud to support. We’re pleased to say that Grape Expectations has fulfilled our expectations and then some.
